Dujiangyan Campus of Sichuan Agricultural University is located in Dujiangyan City, a world natural heritage (Sichuan Giant Panda Habitat), a world cultural heritage and a national scenic spot, with an area of 1.600 mu and a teaching area of 300 mu. Its predecessor was Sichuan Forestry School, which was established in 1953. In April of 20001year, it was merged into Sichuan Agricultural University to establish Dujiangyan Campus. In June 2009, it was renamed Dujiangyan Campus of Sichuan Agricultural University (200 165438, the former Wheat Research Institute was merged into Dujiangyan Campus).
The school has four colleges and two provincial research centers in Dujiangyan campus, including School of Architecture and Urban-Rural Planning, School of Civil Engineering, School of Tourism, Business School, Research Center for Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Engineering in Villages and Towns, and Sichuan Agricultural Characteristic Brand Development and Communication Research Center, a provincial key research base jointly established with the School of Culture and Sports. Master's degree in urban and rural landscape planning and design, master's degree in engineering (architectural and civil engineering direction), master's degree in tourism management, master's degree in business administration, master's degree in agricultural information management and master's degree in agricultural management. There are nearly 6500 full-time students at school. There are nearly 700 faculty members.
Dujiangyan Campus has been restored and rebuilt after the "5. 12" Wenchuan Earthquake, and its campus environment, school-running level and school-running strength have been rapidly improved. The campus has pleasant scenery and elegant environment, and is known as the "Garden Campus".
