The latest ranking of national universities in 2023: Tsinghua University ranked first, Peking University ranked second, Zhejiang University ranked third, Shanghai Jiaotong University ranked fourth and Fudan University ranked fifth.

1, Tsinghua University

Tsinghua University is a famous institution of higher learning in China, located in the scenic campus of Tsinghua in the northwest suburb of Beijing, and is an important base for high-level personnel training and scientific and technological research in China.

At present, Tsinghua University has 2/kloc-0 colleges and 59 departments, and has become a comprehensive, research-oriented and open university with 12 disciplines including science, engineering, literature, art, history, philosophy, economics, management, law, teaching, medicine and interdisciplinary subjects.

2. Peking University

Peking University, formerly known as Shi Jing University Hall, was founded in 1898. Renamed on 19 12. In 2000, it merged with the former Beijing Medical University to form the new Peking University.

Peking University is a university directly under the Ministry of Education, with a vice-ministerial system. Established by the Ministry of Education and the Beijing Municipal People's Government, it is one of the most famous institutions of higher learning in China and even in Asia.

3. Zhejiang University

Zhejiang University is located in Hangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city and scenic spot in China. The school's predecessor was Qiushi Academy, which was founded in 1897. It is one of the earliest new institutions of higher learning founded by China people themselves.

The disciplines of Zhejiang University cover twelve categories, including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, art, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine and management. In the list of "double-first-class" construction announced by the state, the school was selected as a first-class university construction university (Class A), and 18 discipline was selected as a first-class construction discipline.

4. Shanghai Jiaotong University

Shanghai Jiaotong University is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in China, enjoying a high reputation at home and abroad. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly established with Shanghai. After 120 years of unremitting efforts, Shanghai Jiaotong University has been built into a first-class domestic and internationally renowned university with "comprehensiveness, innovation and internationality".

The school has 34 colleges, 12 affiliated hospitals, 3 directly affiliated research platforms, 22 directly affiliated units and 5 directly affiliated enterprises. There are 75 undergraduate majors, covering 9 disciplines including economy, law, literature, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management and art.

5. Fudan University

Fudan University was founded in 1905 as Fudan College, and was named Fudan University in 19 17. It is the first institution of higher learning independently established by the people of China.

The school has philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, medicine, management, art and interdisciplinary subjects 12. There are 35 directly affiliated hospitals (departments) and 8 affiliated hospitals/kloc-0.
