Professor Xie Lixin is mainly engaged in applied basic research and clinical diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic keratopathy and cataract, especially in corneal endothelial cells, infectious keratopathy and intraocular implantation of sustained-release drugs. Won 15 national and provincial scientific and technological progress awards and 4 national invention patents. The first monograph on corneal transplantation and corneal science in China was published, with books 10 as editor-in-chief, chief translator and chief reviewer, and references 18. There are 356 academic papers published in ophthalmology magazines at home and abroad, among which the first author or correspondent published 127 papers in Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology, and 37 papers published abroad were included in SCI.
