The University of Architecture and Technology is a multidisciplinary university featuring civil engineering, environmental management, materials metallurgy and related disciplines, with engineering technology as the main body and the coordinated development of engineering, management, art, science, literature, law, philosophy, economics and teaching.

The master's degree of the school involves seven disciplines, including engineering, management, art, science, law, philosophy and literature, which basically covers all undergraduate majors of the school.

Although Xi University of Architecture and Technology was not 985/2 1 1, it was once called Xi Institute of Architecture and Engineering. However, it is the first architectural institution of higher learning in the northwest of New China, one of the famous "Old Eight Schools" of civil architecture in China, and a key university directly under the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry. Therefore, many professional strengths are not weak, ranking among the best in the national rankings.

The current construction of the school:

As of September 2022, the school has two campuses, Yanta and Caotang, and a science and education industrial park, covering a total area of more than 3,700 mu. There are 2/kloc-0 colleges and 65 undergraduate majors; There are 1 authorized doctoral degree programs, 9 postdoctoral mobile stations, 9 first-class doctoral programs and 27 first-class master programs.
