Hebei Medical University, located in Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province, is a provincial-level backbone university with a hundred-year history and excellent medical education tradition. Its predecessor was 1894 Beiyang Medical College approved by the Qing government. 1In May, 1995, the former Hebei Medical College, Hebei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shijiazhuang Medical College merged to form a new Hebei Medical University.
