Tang Xianzu

Tang Xianzu (1550— 16 16) was a dramatist and writer in China in the Ming Dynasty. Word meaning is still, Hai Ruo people, number if stone, Qingyuan road flyover. Han nationality, Linchuan, Jiangxi. A.D. 1583 (11th year of Wanli) Jinshi, doctor of Taichang Temple, in charge of the Ritual Department. Because of impeaching Shen Shixing, he was reduced to Xu Wendian's history, and later transferred to Suichang County, Zhejiang Province. He was removed from his official position because he did not attach himself to dignitaries, and he never returned to his post. I studied under Luo Rufang and was influenced by Li Zhi's thought. In terms of opera creation, we are opposed to imitating the ancients and sticking to the rules. His works include The Peony Pavilion, The Tale of Handan, Conan and The Tale of Purple Hairpin, which are collectively called the four great dreams of Tang Yuming, among which The Peony Pavilion is the most famous. In the history of China opera, it is as famous as Guan Hanqing and Wang Shifu, and has an important position in the history of China and even the world literature, and is known as "Shakespeare of the East".

In Tang Xianzu's era, the literary world was dominated by the trend of archaizing, and the reputation of the "last seven sons" who inherited the "first seven sons" increased greatly. When Tang Xianzu was 2 1 year old, Li Panlong, the leader of the "last seven sons", had died, but another leader, Wang Shizhen, continued to be the leader of the literary world, "taking charge for twenty years". In his youth, Tang Xianzu criticized Li Mengyang, Li Panlong, Wang Shizhen and others, who were "the first seven poets" and "the last seven poets", accusing them of "adding and subtracting the literalness of Hanshu Tang Poetry" in their works. Later, he even criticized the works of "Li Mengyang and below" as "pseudo-literary works" and pointedly pointed out: "The fame and status of pseudo-writers are quite obvious ... Their writing style is related to the national style, and they are crowned with jade and can deceive people." The fundamental defect of the propositions of "the former and the latter seven scholars" and "literature must be in Qin and Han Dynasties, and poetry must flourish in Tang Dynasty" is to blindly imitate the words and phrases of the previous generation's works, and even make a face-lift and copy the words and phrases of the predecessors. Tang Xianzu thinks that "Han and Song essays are extremely interesting". He also stressed that the beauty of the article lies in the "natural gas field", not between step and form. His thoughts had a certain influence on the police faction that later exposed the anti-imitation banner. It can be said that Tang Xianzu was an important figure of the public security school headed by Li Zhi, Xu Wei and Yuan Hongdao in the process of anti-imitation. Tang Xianzu's poetry was influenced by the beautiful poetic style of the Six Dynasties in his early years. In order to resist the ethos that "poetry must flourish in the Tang Dynasty", he later pursued the difficult style of Song style. His creative practice is not enough to compete with imitators. Tang Xianzu's ancient prose is good at argument and quite argumentative. His letters are full of emotion and fluent, which is praised by later generations. He is also good at historiography. He revised the History of Song Dynasty, but he didn't finish the manuscript. Guan Hanqing (about 1220 ── 1300) was a zaju writer in Yuan Dynasty. He is a representative of China's ancient opera creation. No. has been lent (one-to-one) and has been lent. Han nationality, born in Jiezhou (now Yuncheng, Shanxi Province), Wuren Village, qi zhou (now Anguo County, Hebei Province) and Dadu (now Beijing), was born in the late Jin Dynasty (about 1220) and died in the early years of Yuan Chengzong Dade (about 1300). Guan Hanqing, together with Ma Zhiyuan, Zheng Guangzu and Bai Pu, is called the "Four Masters of Yuan Opera", ranking first among the "Four Masters of Yuan Opera".

The content of Guan Hanqing's zaju has strong reality and high fighting spirit. Guan Hanqing lived in an era of political darkness, corruption, social unrest, class contradictions and ethnic contradictions, and the people lived in dire straits. His plays profoundly reproduce the social reality and are full of rich flavor of the times. There is not only the bloody reality of "gouging people's eyes, bones and skin", but also the tragic experience of child bride Dou E and maid Yan Yan, which reflects a very broad life. It not only mercilessly exposed the darkness of officialdom, but also enthusiastically eulogized the people's resistance struggle. The keynote of Guan Hanqing's plays is composed of generous elegy and optimistic struggle. In Guan Hanqing's works, the most prominent images are ordinary women, such as prostitutes Zhao, Du Ruiniang, teenage girl Wang Ruilan, widow Tan Jier and handmaid, all of which have their own personality characteristics. Most of them came from humble origins and suffered all kinds of humiliation and persecution from the feudal ruling class. Guan Hanqing described their tragic experiences, portrayed their integrity, kindness, intelligence and wit, praised their strong will to resist, and praised their heroic behavior of fighting against the dark forces to death. In that particular historical era, they played an inspiring theme. Guan Hanqing was a great dramatist, and later people called him "Qu Sheng". 1958, as a world cultural celebrity, launched the 700th anniversary of Guan Hanqing's creation at home and abroad. On the evening of June 28th of the same year, there were at least 100 different drama forms and 1500 professional troupes in China, and Guan Hanqing's plays were staged at the same time. His plays have been translated into English, French, German and Japanese. And spread to all parts of the world. Fan Shiting (1905 ~ 1966), formerly known as Fan Yu. People in Suiping, Henan.
