Hubei Police Officer College is a provincial public security undergraduate college in Hubei Province. Its school-running history began with the training course for cadres of the Public Security Department of Hubei Provincial People's Government established in July 1949. Since then, it has experienced the development stages of Hubei Provincial People's Government Public Security School, Wuhan Branch of Central People's Public Security College, Central Second Police Cadre School, Hubei Provincial Public Security School and Hubei Provincial People's Police School.
The college has two campuses: Jiefang Avenue South Campus and Nanniwan Avenue North Campus, with a campus area of 5 12 mu. There are 25 middle-level institutions directly under the College. There are more than 5,400 full-time undergraduates. There are 430 faculty members, including more than 30 full and associate professors/kloc-0, and more than 200 teachers with doctoral and master's degrees.
