Legal analysis: According to the provisions of China's military service law, active servicemen or college students who have been admitted to ordinary colleges and universities can retain their admission qualifications and student status. Admission or resumption of schooling is allowed within two years after discharge.

Legal basis: Article 55 of the Military Service Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that students who have been admitted to or are studying in ordinary colleges and universities before enlisting shall retain their admission qualifications or school status during their service, be admitted to school or resume their studies within two years after retiring from active service, and enjoy preferential treatment such as scholarships, grants and tuition reduction in accordance with relevant state regulations; After graduation, it is preferred to participate in national defense students, rural grassroots service projects organized by the state, and selection of officers. Conscripts and noncommissioned officers who have served in active service for less than 12 years were staff or workers of organs, organizations, enterprises and institutions before enlisting, and retained personnel relations or labor relations during their service; After retiring from active service, you can choose to resume work. During their active service, conscripts and noncommissioned officers shall retain the right to contracted management of rural land obtained according to law before joining the army.
