The College of Science and Technology of Guizhou University also belongs to a college affiliated to Guizhou University, and there are three colleges of science and technology. The previous degree certificates are all diplomas of Guizhou University, and the stamps on them are all from the College of Science and Technology of Guizhou University, which belongs to the unified recruitment. These diplomas must be recognized by the state.

Guizhou University Institute of Technology is a comprehensive full-time undergraduate independent college jointly founded by Guizhou University and Guiyang Jinyang Construction Investment (Group) Co., Ltd., a national "2 1 1 Project" key construction university.

College 200 1 was established with the approval of the provincial people's government in May, and enrolled students in the same year. In June 2005, it was recognized by the Ministry of Education for the first time. In April 2008, it became the first executive director unit of China Independent College Cooperative Association and the vice president unit of Southwest Branch of China Independent College Cooperative Association.

20 10 was awarded the title of "National Advanced Collective of Teaching and Scientific Research in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan" and "National Advanced Independent College", and 20 12 was awarded the title of "March 8th Red Flag Collective", "Strive for the First" and "Strive for the First" in the whole province.
