Since the 1990s, on the basis of the original Chinese subject, three new majors have been added, namely, secretarial education (1992), journalism (1993 was newly established, and in 2000, it merged with modern educational technology to form the School of Journalism and Communication) and teaching Chinese as a foreign language (2000). In the development process of more than 60 years, a large number of famous scholars at home and abroad have worked and taught here. Mr. Zheng, a famous writer and founder, was the head of the Chinese Department of Shaanxi Normal University, the predecessor of the College of Literature of Shaanxi Normal University, from 65438 to 0944.
