School approved by the State Council 1982. 1986 The school accepted the university class of traditional Chinese medicine of Shanxi Medical College. 1989 was formally established in June, and began to accept undergraduates in the same year. From June 65438 to June 0999, the school passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment organized by the Ministry of Education.
In 2002, it began to recruit international students. In 2004, the school accepted the original Taiyuan Railway Central Hospital and Taiyuan Railway Tuberculosis Hospital, and rebuilt it into the Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital of Shanxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In April 2007, the school passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education with "good" results. In February 2008, the school was granted the right to grant master's degree units, and began to recruit master's students in 2009.
