First, Xinjiang Agricultural University
Xinjiang Agricultural University, located in Urumqi, Xinjiang, is a key agricultural university in the autonomous region. It is a university jointly established by the State Forestry Administration and the people's government of the autonomous region, and has been selected into the basic capacity building project of universities in the central and western regions, the national graduate program for building high-level universities, and the national "key discipline project with characteristics".
Second, the teaching staff.
By March, 2023, the school had 16 12 faculty members and 1055 full-time teachers, including 153 professors, 354 associate professors and 426 doctors. The school has 1 academician of China Academy of Engineering, 1 foreign academician of Russian Academy of Sciences, 5 people selected for the national talent special program, 49 experts specially invited by the State Council government, and 5 teachers of "100 million talents project in the new century".

Third, discipline construction.
By March, 2023, the school had established 7 post-doctoral mobile stations, 8 doctoral degree authorization points in first-level disciplines, 9 master degree authorization points in first-level disciplines 19, and 4 master degree authorization points 14. National key disciplines 1, national key (cultivation) disciplines 1, 3 key disciplines of National Forestry and Grassland Bureau, and 2 key disciplines of National Forestry and Grassland Bureau.
