Hohai University, abbreviated as HHU, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Water Resources, the State Oceanic Administration and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province.

The school has Xikang Road Campus, Jiangning Campus and Changzhou Campus in Nanjing and Changzhou. Xikang Road Campus is located at No.Xikang Road 1 in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, Changzhou Campus is located at No.200 Jinling North Road in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, and Jiangning Campus is located at No.8 Fucheng West Road, Jiangning District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province.
