Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. It is a university founded by Gansu Provincial People's Government and state administration of traditional chinese medicine. It is a pilot university for the reform of "Excellent Doctor (Chinese Medicine) Education and Training Plan", a scholarship institution for overseas students of China government, and a "5+3" integrated enrollment institution for Chinese medicine majors.
The school's predecessor was Gansu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine founded by 1978; From 65438 to 0989, the school established the department of Tibetan medicine on the basis of Tibetan medicine major in Gannan Health School, and gradually developed into a college of Tibetan medicine with a master's degree. 20 14 the overall merger of Dingxi Normal University; 20 15, the school officially changed its name to Gansu university of traditional Chinese medicine.
By March 2023, the school has four campuses, namely Heping, Wulipu, Dingxi and Gannan, with a total area of 204 1.6 1 mu, with a collection of more than 900,000 paper books and 2.495 million electronic books. There are 2 teaching institutions1and 32 undergraduate majors.
