South China Normal University now has no major in educational technology, but only educational technology, which is divided into two enrollment directions: normal and non-normal, and belongs to the Institute of Educational Information Technology.

The major of Educational Technology (Teachers' College) mainly trains modern educational technology professionals who are engaged in the teaching of information technology courses, the construction of educational environment, the design, development and application of educational resources in primary and secondary schools, vocational and technical schools, educational information centers, television stations, information technology enterprises, relevant education departments and government functional departments.

The major of educational technology mainly cultivates high-level compound specialized technical talents who are engaged in digital media planning and production, animation design, network system integration and management in IT enterprises, relevant education departments and government functional departments.
