Besides CET-4 and CET-6, is there CET-6 for English undergraduates?
The answer is yes. In most colleges and universities, English majors take TEM-4 in their sophomore year and TEM-8 in their senior year. But some universities require students to take CET-6 instead of CET-4. . . . . . Like xmdx

CET-6 provides an opportunity for the third-year college English majors in China to test their English level, understand the learning situation and gaps, and be familiar with the test items of CET-8, so as to improve their English practical ability and test-taking ability. It not only includes the same questions as TEM-8: listening comprehension, proofreading and correcting mistakes, reading comprehension, translation and writing. The number of questions is exactly the same as that of band 8, while the examination level is band 6.
