The School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Heilongjiang University has two majors (directions): mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, and electrical engineering automation. There are mechanical engineering research institute, electrical and electronic engineering research institute, sensor and measurement and control technology research institute, automation technology research institute, mechatronics research laboratory, embedded technology research laboratory, robot research laboratory, college students' innovation laboratory and foreign experts' studio. In view of the actual demand of social electromechanical talents, the college makes full use of overseas teachers, appropriately increases the proportion of foreign teachers teaching foreign language courses and some professional courses, strengthens the foreign language communication ability of engineering technology, and emphasizes high-standard and advanced knowledge system. The School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Heilongjiang University enrolled students for the first time in 2005, in which the major of mechanical design, manufacturing and automation was enrolled nationwide. At present, the mechanical and electrical community of Heilongjiang University has been built, with a perfect engineering training center, which can be used for the practice of related majors in the whole school, and equipped with a strong faculty to ensure the teaching quality.
