Renji College of Wenzhou Medical University was established in August 2006, 1999. It was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the provincial people's government. It is a full-time provincial independent undergraduate course university established according to the new school-running mode and operation mechanism. As one of the important bases for training medical talents in Zhejiang Province, it is the vice-chairman unit of similar independent colleges in China and the vice-chairman unit of the Medical College Committee of China Independent College. 20 15 became the first batch of pilot colleges in Zhejiang province to strengthen application-oriented undergraduate courses.
Relying on the strong advantages of Wenzhou Medical University 100 years, the college has set up majors according to the needs of economic and social development. There are 24 undergraduate majors in six disciplines, including 1 provincial key disciplines, 4 provincial emerging majors, 3 municipal key construction majors, 4 provincial and municipal excellent courses and 6 provincial key textbooks. There are more than 6,500 full-time students.
The college has more than 590,000 Chinese and foreign paper books. There are 18 experimental centers (rooms), and more than 100 teaching practice bases have been established inside and outside the province. The college has 8 functional departments, 13 departments. It has a strong faculty with both ability and political integrity, with 385 full-time teachers, of whom more than 75% are doctors and masters, and 208 are senior titles. It is the only independent college in our province with provincial teachers.
