Do you have winter and summer vacations when studying at the University of Hong Kong? Do you have a holiday?
There is no winter vacation in Hong Kong, only the Spring Festival. But it's on National Day. Besides the statutory holidays in the Mainland, there are Easter and Christmas in Hong Kong, and there are many holidays. Graduate students will have a one-day or half-day class on weekends, and most of the rest time is in the afternoon or evening, and the daytime is the undergraduate class time.

Due to the influence of western culture, public holidays in Hong Kong are different from statutory holidays in the Mainland. Traditional festivals in China, including New Year's Day, Spring Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and Double Ninth Festival, are all public holidays, but the holiday time is slightly different. Except for three days after the Spring Festival holiday, other holidays are generally 1 day.
