Harbin Institute of Technology is one of the first universities to enter the national "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project", and has become a multidisciplinary, open and research-oriented national key university with great influence at home and abroad. Qingdao Science and Technology Park of Harbin Institute of Technology will focus on introducing the State Key Laboratory of Harbin Institute of Technology and the National Engineering Center, and build a blue science and technology port, a Sino-Russian (Qingdao) science and technology industrial park, an international science and technology forum and conference center, and related living and commercial supporting facilities. According to the master plan, the construction period of the Science Park is five years. It is planned to start construction in June of 20 12, complete the first phase of the park in 20 15, and complete the overall construction of the park in 20 16. The construction of Qingdao Science and Technology Park of Harbin Institute of Technology will fully rely on the resource advantages of Harbin Institute of Technology, such as scientific research and talents, fully combine science and technology with demand, technology with capital, talents with projects, and form a strategic alliance with R&D for Industry-University-Research and innovation, talent introduction and training, and industrial development and growth, so as to build it into a world-class science and technology park and play an engine and supporting role in the construction of the blue economic zone on the peninsula.
