On the morning of May, 2065438 18, the 14th lecture of Lianchi Reading Club-"Talking about Classical Tunes-Talking about the Singing and Performance of Old Peking Opera Students" was held in the new campus of Hebei University. In the lecture, Teacher Wang Peiyu divided the reasons why most people don't want to go to the theater into four categories: First, they couldn't understand what the opera was singing; Second, the opera is too loud; Third, the rhythm of opera is too slow; Fourth, only the elderly like to go to the opera. In this regard, Wang Peiyu corrected the misinterpretation one by one.

In order to show the tension in the language of traditional Chinese opera, Wang Peiyu began to sing some excerpts of traditional Chinese opera, such as "Shiro Visiting Mother", "Searching for the Lonely" and "Hongze Lake", which attracted applause from the audience. After the lecture, in the interactive session with the audience, a 5-year-old boy named Ding Haoran sang a traditional China opera, which was appreciated by Wang Peiyu. At the end of the lecture, Wang Peiyu said that prejudice stems from ignorance, and he hoped that the audience would love Peking Opera and pass on this "luxurious" culture.

To commemorate Mr. Zhang Boju's birthday, on the evening of April19th, 2065438, "Peking Opera Concert to Commemorate the Birthday of Mr. Zhang Boju115th Anniversary" was held in Beijing Meilanfang Grand Theatre, and many famous actors Wang Peiyu and Peking Opera fans were invited to perform.
