The undergraduate majors of Art College of Chongqing University are design (product design [original industrial design, 1985], environmental design and visual communication design), painting (oil painting, Chinese painting direction), music performance and dance performance.

It has four first-class disciplines, including design, fine arts, music and dance, and art theory, and four master's degree authorization points and master of arts (MFA) degree authorization points. Design is the key discipline in the 13th Five-Year Plan of Chongqing, and product design is the first-class major in Chongqing's undergraduate universities (the first-class major in the "Two Million Plan" of the Ministry of Education).
