First, Guangxi University:

1953 adjustment of colleges and departments in national universities, and adjustment of disciplines, equipment and books for teachers and students in Guangxi University to 19 universities in Central South and South China. 1958, Guangxi University was allowed to resume reconstruction in Nanning. 1997, Guangxi University merged with Guangxi Agricultural University to form a new Guangxi University.
