University of international business and economics is one of the earliest universities in China to offer business administration. As early as 1982, the school established the major of business administration. At the beginning of the school, the American business administration education model and the teaching material system of western business administration, marketing, financial management, accounting and other disciplines were fully introduced. On this basis, combined with China's enterprise management practice, a characteristic education system is established, which permeates the management theory and practice at home and abroad, and has achieved excellent educational results.

Our school has been supported by the United Nations (UNDP/ITC) 1987 project, and established the International Business Administration Education Center with an investment of millions of dollars. All teachers were sent to famous universities in Britain, the United States and Canada for training and study, and introduced a complete set of curriculum systems, textbooks, reference books and teaching methods from Europe and America, and implemented two major curriculum systems: undergraduate and postgraduate. With the approval of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, our school began to recruit in-service graduate students majoring in business administration on 1993, and began to recruit full-time MBA students in 2002.

Our MBA program has been devoted to cultivating international and compound enterprise management talents with good moral character, good physical and mental health, strong enterprising spirit and innovative consciousness, basic theoretical knowledge and advanced professional knowledge of enterprise management, international vision, familiarity with international practices and rules, and proficiency in English.
