The applied psychology of Jida University is a newly opened major, which belongs to the Department of Psychology of the School of Philosophy and Social Sciences. This school ranks in the top ten (seventh or eighth) in the country. After the merger in 2000, the discipline was established by the psychology of the old Kyrgyzstan University and the psychology of the old Bethune Medical University.
