1, marine biopharmaceuticals. It mainly studies bioactive substances such as marine polysaccharides and marine toxins.

2. Study on bioactive substances based on traditional Chinese medicine. This paper mainly studies the bioactive substances in anti-stroke, hypolipidemic and anti-tumor Chinese medicines.

3. Microbial pharmacy. It mainly studies drug biosynthesis and biotransformation, bioactive substances produced by microorganisms and so on.

The research technology involves the separation and purification of bioactive substances, structural analysis, microbial culture and fermentation, molecular biology, genetic engineering, enzyme engineering, animal cell culture, animal experiments, organic synthesis and so on.

Scientific research projects:

Responsible for completing the research work of 7 scientific research projects such as National Natural Science Foundation, Shandong Natural Science Foundation, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education Fund. As the project leader, he is undertaking the research work of six projects, including "Study on the Treatment of Neurodegenerative Diseases with Stichopus Japonicus Glycopeptides".
