Ningxia University was founded in 1958. Ningxia University is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is a national "double first-class" university and a national "2 1 1 engineering" key university. Ningxia University was founded in 1958. 1997 65438+February, Ningxia University merged with the former Ningxia Institute of Technology and Yinchuan Normal University (including Ningxia Education College); In February 2002, it merged with Ningxia Agricultural College to form a new Ningxia University.

2. Ningxia Medical University

Ningxia Medical University is a university approved by the Ministry of Education, the Health and Wellness Committee and the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Located in Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The school's predecessor was Ningxia Medical College, which was founded in 1958. 1962 was renamed Ningxia university medical department. From 65438 to 0972, Shanghai Railway Medical College moved to Yinchuan, merged with the Medical Department of Ningxia University, and rebuilt Ningxia Medical College. In 2002, Ningxia Health School and Ningxia Nursing School merged into Ningxia Medical College.
