Honghe University has two campuses, Liren and Mingde (across the road). The addresses of the two campuses are Xuefu Road, mengzi city, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture. Among them, Liren Campus is the old campus and Mingde Campus is the new campus.
Honghe University, formerly known as Mengzi Teachers College, was founded in 1978. It is a provincial comprehensive undergraduate college in Yunnan Province. The school implements the management system of "provincial * * * building * * * management, focusing on the province". As one of the universities closest to the border in the southwest of China, Honghe University is relying on its geographical advantages to build a new highland of frontier higher education with the new concept of "Guomen University" through the active practice of introducing and going abroad.
