The School of Mathematics and Information Science of Henan Normal University was founded in 1923, and the former Department of Mathematics of Henan University was founded in 195 1. 1956 The two departments merged to form the Mathematics Department of Xinxiang Normal University. 1984 was renamed the Department of Mathematics of Henan Normal University, and was withdrawn from the Department in June 2000. At present, our college has developed into a multi-specialty, multi-level and strong faculty, which has great influence in Henan Province. Over the past 90 years, the College of Mathematics and Information Science and its predecessor, the Department of Mathematics, have trained a batch of talents with both ability and political integrity for the country, all over the country, with a total of more than 10,000 graduates. They have a solid basic knowledge, work hard and made outstanding contributions in their respective posts. In particular, those graduates who have worked in the Education Department of Henan Province for a long time have worked hard for the development of education in Henan Province and achieved remarkable results, becoming the leaders or backbones of their units.
