Bauhaus is actually German Bauhaus, which means something like architecture.

This university is Weimar University of Architecture, a modern top architecture university.

There are not many design universities in Germany, and most of other design majors are located in FH, similar to specialties. Universities also have architecture majors. Only a few (comprehensive universities) have both architectural design and universitaet. It shows that this university is a professional architecture university, and I personally feel good.
