China Youshi University (East China) is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, which is jointly established by the Ministry of Education, five major energy enterprise groups, the Ministry of Education and the Shandong Provincial People's Government. It is a national "double first-class" "2 1 1 project" construction university and an important base for cultivating high-level talents in petroleum and petrochemical industry. The school is located in Qingdao, with Wang Yong, Party Secretary, and Fang Hao, President. The school motto is "only true and only true".
China Youshi University (East China) is a university with distinctive petroleum and petrochemical characteristics and coordinated development of multiple disciplines, and is known as the "cradle of petroleum technology and management talents". As of April 2022, the school has a total area of more than 5,000 mu, with a building area of10.3 million square meters, and has developed into a school-running pattern of "two campuses and one park" (Qingdao Tangdaowan Campus, Guzhen Kou Campus and Dongying Science and Education Park).
The school has 16 teaching colleges (departments), as well as convergence college, international education college, distance education college and continuing education college, with 14 first-class disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees, and three doctoral degrees authorized to set up two disciplines independently.
Nine doctoral degrees are authorized to set up interdisciplinary disciplines, two doctoral degree authorization categories, 33 master degree authorization first-level disciplines, 1 master degree authorization two disciplines, 15 master degree authorization categories, 59 undergraduate enrollment majors, 1 1 postdoctoral mobile stations, and1more than 700 faculty members.
China Youshi University, formerly known as Beijing Petroleum Institute, was founded in 1953. /kloc-moved to Dongying, Shandong province in 0/969, and changed its name to East China Petroleum Institute. 1988 was renamed Petroleum University, gradually forming a school-running pattern in Shandong and Beijing. In June 2005, it was renamed China Shiyou University.
