1958 moved from Kaifeng to Zhengzhou and changed its name to the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical College.
1985 was renamed as the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical University.
In 2000, the former Zhengzhou University and other three universities merged and named it the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University. The hospital covers an area of more than 300 mu with a building area of 260,000 square meters.
The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University is a medical institution with a long history. 1928 was founded in the ancient city of Kaifeng, formerly known as the Affiliated Hospital of Medical College of National Henan University. At that time, there were 28 bungalows, 50 beds and 28 employees. Because of the war, he moved to Songshan, Hanzhong and Suzhou. 1948 Kaifeng was liberated and the hospital was reborn.
Zhengzhou 1952 Henan Medical College was established independently, and the hospital was named "The First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical College". From 1958, it was moved from Kaifeng to Zhengzhou, and the scale was expanded. 1985 was changed to "First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical University and First Clinical Medical College".
Zhengzhou merged with Zhengzhou University in 2000, and 200 1 was named "The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University and the First Clinical College". After 70 years of changes, it has developed into the largest modern general hospital in our province, which integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and prevention. Especially since the reform and opening up, the hospital has developed steadily in scientific management, medical teaching, scientific and technological innovation, nursing quality and logistics support, and has been awarded honorary titles such as "Class-III First-Class Hospital", "Baby-friendly Hospital", "National Advanced Health System Collective", "National Top 100 Hospital", Zhengzhou Civilized Unit and Zhengzhou Civilized Unit Model.
The great changes and steady development in the past 80 years have laid a solid position for hospitals in Henan Province and even the whole country, and become a banner of health undertakings in Henan Province. It has become one of the few modern comprehensive hospitals integrating teaching, scientific research, medical treatment, prevention, health care and rehabilitation in China, with strong treatment ability, international communication ability and high scientific research level.
Zhengzhou 200 1 Ward Building was completed and put into use in September, 200012000. It is the largest and tallest modern ward building in Henan Province at present, with 5A-level intelligent functions (office, building control, communication, security, monitoring, fire fighting and other automation). The logistics transmission system adopted by the hospital has greatly improved the work efficiency. The new disease 5b4 building embodies the patient-centered design concept everywhere, creating a comfortable and convenient treatment environment for patients. It laid a good foundation for the hospital to reach the first-class level and connect with the international community.
