1. The main campus, namely Taipa Campus, is the highest university in Macao with a small and exquisite garden-like structure. Aocheng University is beautiful, more exquisite and beautiful than HKUST and Tourism College. It's very tiring to climb mountains at school. Because the school is too small, there is no playground and gymnasium, and the gymnasium is also very small.
2. Dormitory and campus are separated. There are several dormitories, according to their majors. Dormitories with fewer professionals will be better. Generally, 4-5 people go to bed and get off the table. However, there are many popular professional international travel agencies this year, so the girls' dormitory 9- 1 1 is still bunk beds ... it's really crowded, noisy and messy. But one advantage is that the dormitory is apartment-style. The school rented a residential building outside to make our dormitory, so there is a kitchen and a washing machine. Individual dormitories may have printers and study rooms.
I haven't lived in a dormitory since my sophomore year, and I have rented my own house since my sophomore year. I can choose Zhuhai or Macau.
To tell the truth, I personally think that the faculty of Chengda University is average. Although teachers are generally graduates of Tsinghua Peking University, I think the overall teaching is average. After all, maybe it's because I'm only a freshman and I haven't been in contact with a good teacher.
The learning atmosphere is also general, after all, it is not a particularly good prestigious school. I don't feel very tight, some teachers are loose, of course, some teachers are very strict and responsible, and any homework will be very challenging. Many students don't want to make progress, and stay up late every day to make up and play games. However, there are also many excellent people. Some students I know around me graduated from Guangzhou Guangya Middle School, and the college entrance examination is only a few minutes away from City University. Even Australian universities and Beijing Institute of Technology have surpassed one line. Some people stay up late to write papers, while others study all kinds of skills very hard and seriously.
6. Some majors in City University are divided into English classes and Chinese classes. If you must come to our school, you'd better take an English class. There are many Macao natives in the Chinese class. To tell the truth, many locals don't study ... especially some adults who come to study undergraduate courses (a friend of mine in Chinese class told me that some of them are married and have children ...). One of our teachers said that many of them came to get diplomas, so that they could get higher wages when they graduated and went to work. A classmate of mine from Macau Tourism College also told me that the local people in Macau in their school either got good grades or were too poor to study. In contrast, the learning atmosphere and students in English classes will be much better, and teachers will pay more attention to it.
It's good to go to a prestigious school, but it doesn't matter if you can't. It doesn't matter where you go to school, as long as you work hard and are willing to pay attention. On the whole, Chengda still has a lot of room for improvement, but it is not as bad as some people say. If you can take one or lower than one, I recommend you to go to the Australian Institute of Science and Technology Tourism, but if your grades are at the level of 23 in China, then City University can consider it.
