The school's predecessor, Qiuzhen College of Huzhou Normal University, is a full-time independent college approved by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government in August 2006, 1999. At present, the school covers an area of more than 500 mu, and the planned new campus is located in Nantaihu New District, one of the four cities in Greater Bay Area, Zhejiang Province, with the planned land area of 1 1,000 mu.
