According to the present situation of college physics teaching in agricultural universities and the development of teaching reform, some ideas and suggestions are put forward for the reform of college physics teaching content and teaching methods from several aspects, so as to promote the better development of college physics teaching content, teaching purpose and teaching effect in agricultural universities and realize the purpose of college physics teaching reform in agricultural universities.
College physics is a subject that studies the basic structure and interaction of matter, the most basic and universal movement form of matter and the law of mutual transformation. Physics has a wide range of research objects. Its basic theory permeates many fields of natural science and is applied to various departments of production technology. It is the foundation of natural science and engineering technology. It contains basic contents such as classical physics, modern physics and the application of physics in science and technology, which is the basis for further study of various majors and the necessary knowledge for future work. Therefore, it is an important basic course required by students of all majors [1].
The function of offering college physics courses for agricultural majors is to lay the necessary physical foundation for students systematically, and on the other hand, to enable students to learn preliminary scientific thinking and research methods. This will play a very important role in broadening students' thinking, stimulating the spirit of exploration and innovation, enhancing their adaptability and improving the quality of talents. At the same time, it also has a far-reaching impact on students' further study of new knowledge, new theories and new technologies in their future work.
First, the analysis of the current situation of college physics teaching
2 1 century is an era of rapid development of science and technology, and the demand for talents will be higher and more comprehensive, which also puts forward higher requirements for our college physics teaching and must keep pace with the times. However, taking physics teaching in agricultural universities as an example, there are the following problems:
(1) The content of college physics textbooks is mainly classical physics, which is divided into mechanics, heat, optics, electromagnetism and modern physics. The contents are independent of each other, lack of contact and have not formed a unified physical system. The title of the teaching content is similar to that of Otawa Middle School. After reading the catalogue, students' enthusiasm and interest in learning dropped sharply.
(2) The proportion of classical physics and modern physics is extremely unbalanced. Classical physics accounts for more than 80% of physics teaching content, which is basically the achievement before the 20th century. It does not stand at the height of the development of modern physics, and examines, selects and organizes the traditional teaching content with a modern point of view. At the same time, the content of modern physics is very little, especially the modern physics thought that does not reflect the rapid development of physics since the second half of the 20th century, which makes students know little about modern physics and is seriously out of touch with modern physics. Therefore, the reform of college physics teaching is imperative.
(3) Backward teaching methods. Although some teachers have used multimedia teaching now, the overall application of modern teaching methods is far from enough, which fails to fully reflect the advantages of modern teaching methods. The improvement of teaching methods is also expected to be further explored.
Second, some ideas about the reform of college physics teaching content
(1) Starting from the general requirements of college physics for the cultivation of non-physics majors, different teaching emphases have been adopted for agricultural majors. The textbooks used now are either suitable for us with few class hours and no supporting teaching reference books, or the teaching contents related to agricultural majors are insufficient. We can make different syllabus according to different majors, pay attention to the connection of various parts of knowledge, and take the development of modern physics as the leading factor to completely and systematically tell the basic contents of physics. At the same time, the teaching and research section can prepare to organize forces to write a college physics teaching reference book suitable for agricultural majors, which is mainly used to help students understand basic concepts and theorems, help students learn to analyze and solve problems, and help students improve their ability to apply physics knowledge to practice.
(2) Increase the content of modern physics, and introduce the frontier of modern physics, such as quantum theory, the space-time view of relativity, etc. Stimulate students' interest, broaden their scientific horizons and broaden their thinking. Incorporate the achievements of modern science and technology and the contents of cutting-edge topics into the teaching materials, and supplement some cutting-edge new development contents of physics and related majors, so that students can learn the new information and trends of modern science and technology development while learning basic theories. (3) Deal with the classical physics part, select the content closely related to modern science and technology and modern physics knowledge, delete the old part, avoid repeating the content of middle school physics, extend classical physics to modern physics, and add new ideas.
(4) Integrating the basic knowledge of related disciplines into teaching materials. Now science and technology are more and more interdisciplinary. Therefore, for agricultural majors, it is necessary to increase the content of agricultural application in the selection of teaching materials, closely contact students and teach students in accordance with their aptitude.
Thirdly, the idea of reforming the teaching methods and means of college physics.
(1) Pay attention to application and weaken calculation. The traditional physics teaching method is based on physics theory and calculation formula, which requires students to solve problems, but the understanding and application of physics concepts are swept away. In fact, students are not suitable for solving physical problems by mathematical methods, which leads to their fear of solving problems. Therefore, in teaching, students should not be immersed in the sea of questions for the purpose of doing problems, but should focus on applied teaching, practice exercises appropriately, and pay attention to cultivating students' ability to analyze problems with physical knowledge and cultivate their innovative ability.
(2) Flexible use of multimedia teaching. Multimedia teaching has become an important part of modern education. Appropriate multimedia teaching can improve students' learning efficiency, help to give play to students' subjective initiative, develop students' personality and realize the "student-oriented" educational concept. Adding some basic models of animation, demonstration experiments, illustrations and physics to multimedia electronic courseware can make up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching and increase the intuition of classroom teaching, which is of great significance for students to dynamically understand and master physical concepts [2].
(3) In terms of examination, we can change the current examination mode and combine various examination methods. On the one hand, the written test is closed and the question bank test is adopted. On the other hand, writing small papers and new ideas can strengthen students' awareness of learning, reduce their pressure and improve their ability to find and explore problems.
(4) Pay attention to the cultivation of students' practical ability. Physics is based on experiments, so college physics includes two parts: theory and experiment. Through college physics experiments, students enhance their hands-on ability, ability to analyze and solve problems, and cultivate good experimental quality. According to the practical experience of opening experiments in physics laboratory, the laboratory is open to students, which provides students with opportunities for observation and practical operation. Students can choose to watch and operate experiments according to their own actual situation, from which they can understand the mystery of physics knowledge.

Therefore, college physics teachers should not only understand physical theory but also do experiments, and at the same time be familiar with the frontier knowledge related to agricultural specialty. This requires teachers to pay equal attention to teaching and scientific research, learn cutting-edge science and technology on the basis of familiarity with teaching, have high teaching and scientific research ability, and let students learn college physics well and have a certain understanding of modern science and technology. On the basis of existing teaching, teachers should constantly explore, enlighten students' ability to find and solve problems and innovative thinking while imparting knowledge, and become high-quality all-round talents.
