Together with Tsinghua University (now Tsinghua University) in Beijing and Nanyang Middle School (now Shanghai Jiaotong University) in Shanghai, it became the three major training bases for international students in China at that time. In 2007, Henan University, which has a glorious history, inherited the trend of opening to the outside world and was approved by the people's government of Henan Province to establish the Eurasian International College, a Chinese-foreign cooperative education institution.
