Being late for the first class
The curriculum in the university is relatively loose, but as a freshman, I still want to attend classes on time. However, in the first week, I was late for 10 minutes because I went the wrong way. As soon as I opened the door, the eyes of the whole class were on me. That kind of embarrassment made me feel that I was the most unpopular person in the world.
Awkward social occasions
There are many social occasions in college, such as organized parties and dormitory parties, but for an introverted person, these occasions are very embarrassing. I remember once, I went to a party with some classmates, because I didn't drink, so I didn't follow. Finally, I sat alone in the corner, watching others having fun, and felt as if I were isolated.
Be named by the teacher
Teachers in universities usually call the roll to make sure that all the students are present. But once, when the teacher called my name, I didn't answer. I was so absorbed in the contents of my notebook that I didn't realize that I had been named. At this time, the teacher came directly to my desk and asked me to stand up and answer questions. This feeling of being suddenly interrupted is really embarrassing.
These are some embarrassing experiences I met in college. Although these experiences make me uncomfortable, they are also a process of my growth and learning.
