The predecessor of Heilongjiang University Library can be traced back to Yan 'an Foreign Language School Library during the Anti-Japanese War. It has a collection of 3.4 million books, a large open-shelf reading room, a document center and an audio-visual room, with complete audio-visual facilities *** 15 and more than 2,400 reading seats. The library will be open continuously every day 13.5 hours. Bibliographic database and network construction have also made great progress, not only the library LAN has been opened. At the same time, the campus network can be connected with the China Education and Research Network and the Internet, which fully realizes the automatic management of the library and greatly improves the work efficiency.

According to the development trend of modernization and digital library, the new library adopts intelligent integrated wiring system and is equipped with nearly 400 computer network sockets. Shenzhen Library adopts the Library Automation Integrated System (ILAS Ⅱ Ⅱ) developed by Shenzhen Library, and advanced technologies such as computers are widely used in business and management fields such as document editing, circulation and document retrieval.
