This major trains senior professionals who have a solid Japanese language foundation and extensive scientific and cultural knowledge, and master the basic theories and knowledge of Japanese language, literature, history, politics, economy, diplomacy, social culture and so on. Japanese listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation skills training, mastering certain scientific research methods, and having high quality and strong ability. After completing the credits of Wuhan University, some third-year students can be sent to jiayue University to continue their studies for two years. Those who pass the examination can get double bachelor's degrees from Wuhan University and jiayue University.
