As early as 20 19, Shanxi Agricultural University and Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Taiyuan carried out reforms. After the joint office, the name of the unit was changed to "Shanxi Agricultural University (Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences)", which was divided into two campuses: Jinzhong and Taiyuan. One year after the reform of the Joint Office, the registered place of Shanxi Agricultural University was changed to Taiyuan in a low-key way, and it officially joined the team of "provincial universities".
