Ma Yuan, Ma Yuan (14-49), a native of Maoling County, Fufeng County (now northeast of Xingping City, Shaanxi Province), was a famous strategist in the Eastern Han Dynasty. When Emperor Guangwu of Han Dynasty was emperor, he was worshipped as a general and given a new title, which was called "Ma" internationally.

Ma Chao (176-222), a native of Maoling, Fufeng (now northeast of Xingping, Shaanxi), was a famous soldier of Shu and Han dynasties in the late Han Dynasty.
