China People's Liberation Army Aviation University Air Force (PLA Air Force) is the only comprehensive military institution in China that focuses on training flight talents and adapts to aviation engineering technology.

As of September, 20 14, the school has three first-class disciplines authorized by academic master's degrees, and three military master's professional degrees authorized by military command, military political work and military equipment. Two engineering disciplines are key construction disciplines with advantages and characteristics in Jilin Province.

By September, 20 14, the school library covers an area of 32,000 square meters, with 612,000 books, a metropolitan area network connecting all units of the school has been built, and a teaching multimedia material library and a 1200-seat electronic reading room have been established.
