Hunan Institute of Humanities is located in Bianxing Road, Louxing District, Loudi City, Hunan Province. Hunan Institute of Humanities and Science is located in Loudi, a new town in central Hunan Province. It is a provincial public comprehensive undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education.
Hunan Institute of Humanities and Science and Technology started from Loudi Normal School founded by 1978, and has undergone many changes with the development of history. In 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was upgraded and renamed Hunan College of Humanities.
