2. Introduction of Beijing Sport University

Beijing Sport University is located in Beijing, directly under the State Sports General Administration. It is the first batch of national key universities, national "double-first-class" construction universities, national "2 1 1 project" key construction universities determined by the State Council after the founding of New China, and selected into "Academic Innovation and Intelligence Introduction Program of Colleges and Universities", "Public Postgraduate Program of National Construction of High-level Universities", "National New Engineering Research Practice Project" and "Scholarship Receiving Institution of China Government for Overseas Students in China".

The school was founded in 1952, and the opening ceremony was held in 1953. Formerly known as Central Institute of Physical Education, 1956 was renamed Beijing Institute of Physical Education, and 1993 was renamed Beijing Sport University.
