Wuyi University is a multidisciplinary university with engineering as its major, which was established by Guangdong Provincial People's Government 1985. The school is located in Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, the first hometown of overseas Chinese in China. The initial employment rate of undergraduates ranks first in the public undergraduate colleges in the province for many years, and the quality of talent training has been widely recognized by the society. The school has 10 provincial key disciplines, 8 first-class master's degree authorization points and 3 independent second-class master's degree authorization points, and 9 professional master's authorization fields in two categories: master of engineering and master of education. Master's authorization covers all science and engineering majors in the school.
