The national scholarship for master students is usually 20,000 yuan/year, and the academic scholarship covers all full-time students (about 8,000 yuan for first-class students, 5,000 yuan for second-class students and 3,000 yuan for third-class students). The national scholarship is usually 6000 yuan/year, and the school scholarship is established by colleges and universities according to the actual situation.

China Ocean University (OUC), located in Qingdao, Shandong Province, is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It ranks among the first-class universities in the world (Class A), Project 985, 2 1 1 project, and was selected into the 201plan,1/kloc.

The school was formerly a private Qingdao University, founded in 1924. 1930, National Qingdao University was established on the basis of provincial Shandong University and private Qingdao University. After the National Shandong University and Shandong University, the main body of Shandong University moved to Jinan in 1958, and in March/959, Shandong Ocean College was established on the basis of the departments of oceanography, fisheries, geology and biology. 1960 was identified by the state as one of the national 13 key comprehensive universities. 1988 was renamed Qingdao Ocean University. In 2002, it was renamed China Ocean University.
