Wuhan University of Light Industry, located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, is the earliest school in China to train professionals in the grain industry. It is a university jointly established by the State Grain and Material Reserve Bureau and the Hubei Provincial People's Government, a domestic first-class discipline construction university in Hubei Province, and the South Asia Southeast Asia University Alliance. Selected as the first batch of outstanding agricultural and forestry talents education and training plan, it is an important research and development base of national grain, animal husbandry, feed and aquatic products industries, and also an education and training base of national grain industry (Wuhan).
