Harbin medical university
Harbin Medical University for short, located in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, is the first batch of universities in the Ministry of Education to pilot seven-year higher medical education. It is a key university built by the Ministry of Education, a high-level university in Heilongjiang Province, a university with superior disciplines, a university built by the national "Basic Capacity Building Project for Colleges and Universities in the Midwest", and a pilot university in the "Excellent Doctoral Education and Training Program" of the Ministry of Education.
The state builds high-level universities, implements public postgraduate programs, builds national "key disciplines with characteristics", national bases for training basic scientific research and teaching talents, implements national plans for cultivating college students' innovation and entrepreneurship, pilot universities for the reform of postgraduate training mode of medical master's degree, Heilongjiang Higher Medical Education Research Base, and the Chinese lead unit of Sino-Russian Medical University Alliance.
The school's predecessor was Harbin Medical College founded by Dr. Lian Dewu in September 1926 and Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army Health School founded in Ruijin, Jiangxi in October 19365438. 1April, 949, it was formed by the former Harbin Medical University and the first and second branches of the former Xingshan (now Hegang) China Medical University. In May 2000, Jixi Coal Medical College merged.
20 15,10124 October, Harbin Medical University was officially approved by the Ministry of Education, the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province as a university established by ministries. By April 2023, the total campus area of the school was 3,540 mu (including Daqing Campus 17 10 mu); Secondary hospitals 19, 8 institutions and 9 affiliated hospitals.
Among them, there are 5 directly affiliated hospitals and 30 undergraduate majors; At present, there are 5 post-doctoral research mobile stations, 9 doctoral programs in first-level disciplines, 65 doctoral programs in two disciplines, 1 master program 1 1, and 67 master programs in two disciplines. At present, there are 183 12 faculty members, 15732 general education undergraduates, 83 15 graduate students and 266 international students.
