1, Introduction:

College of Science and Technology of Ningbo University; Ningbo University of Science and Technology), located in Cixi City, Zhejiang Province, is a full-time undergraduate independent college jointly organized by Ningbo University and Ningbo Forward-looking Education Technology Development Corporation, approved by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and filed by China Minsheng Investment and Ministry of Education; 20 15 was listed as a pilot college for application-oriented undergraduate construction in Zhejiang Province.

College of Science and Technology of Ningbo University was established in April 1999. It is the first state-owned private secondary college in Zhejiang Province to carry out the pilot reform of the university system. In June 2004, it was recognized by the Ministry of Education as the first batch of independent colleges in Zhejiang Province.

As of April 2023, the college has 9 secondary colleges and 48 undergraduate majors; Full-time students 1.3 million.

2. Historical evolution:

1In April, 1999, the People's Government of Zhejiang Province issued a document approving the establishment of the College of Science and Technology of Ningbo University, which is the first state-owned private secondary college in Zhejiang Province to carry out the pilot reform of the university system. In June of the same year, the inaugural meeting was held in Xinzhi Hotel.

In June 2004, the College of Science and Technology of Ningbo University was recognized by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Education as the first independent college in Zhejiang Province. In the same year, in June+February, 5438, it passed the special inspection of school-running conditions and teaching work of the Ministry of Education, and obtained the highest grade evaluation.

In March 2005, the College of Science and Technology of Ningbo University established four departments, namely, Humanities Department, Law and Business Department, Science and Technology Department and Life Medicine Department, and established six administrative functional departments, including Party and Government Office, Personnel Department, Teaching and Research Department, Finance Department and Education Logistics Department, and a teaching auxiliary unit of the experimental center.

In February 2006, the College of Science and Technology of Ningbo University established the Art Branch of the College of Science and Technology of Ningbo University.

20 12 April, Zhejiang Academic Degrees Committee approved the College of Science and Technology of Ningbo University with the right to award bachelor's degrees.

2065438+September 2009, the college moved from zhenhai district, Ningbo, Zhejiang to Cixi.

June 5438+1October 65438+February 2022, the School of Science and Technology of Ningbo University and the People's Government of zhouxiang town, Cixi signed a strategic cooperation agreement between the school and the land. The two parties will be in Zhouxiang Campus, Jianning University of Science and Technology, zhouxiang town, Cixi.
