Ecology and environmental science:
The unique geographical conditions of Inner Mongolia University have fully developed ecology and environmental science, and formed a scientific group focusing on grassland ecology and biotechnology of agriculture and animal husbandry. There are two majors in undergraduate course: ecology and environmental science, among which ecology is the brand major of Inner Mongolia and environmental science is the brand major of Inner Mongolia University. This subject also enrolls students by category. After the end of the second academic year, 10 students were selected to study in the national biological base (ecology major) for four years.
Computer science and technology:
The major of computer science and technology trains high-level specialized scientific and technological talents who have good scientific literacy, systematically and well grasp the basic theories, basic knowledge and basic skills and methods of computer science and technology, including computer hardware, software and applications, and can engage in computer teaching, research and application in scientific research departments, educational units, enterprises and institutions, and technical and administrative departments.
Mathematics and applied mathematics:
Students in this major mainly study the basic theories and methods of mathematical science, have the ability to use mathematical knowledge and use computers to solve practical problems, and have been initially trained in scientific research. Senior professionals who can engage in research and teaching in science and technology, education, economy and other departments, or engage in practical application, development, research and management in production, operation and management departments.
